The Abdijbeke project responds to the genius loci. Meticulously crafted volumes and lush #greenery seamlessly merge, enriching the neighborhood with newfound #vitality. Echoing the legacy of Frederik Sander, a renowned orchid specialist who established a plant nursery here in 1894, the district’s vibrant street names harken back to its flourishing past. In line with the ethos of the Sanderkwartier, the buildings are strategically positioned, creating a green plateau nestled between them, opening up to Frederick Sander Park. This design choice prioritizes pedestrian and cyclist #accessibility, fostering a sense of community and #connection

Il progetto Abdijbeke risponde al genius loci. Volumi meticolosamente realizzati e #vegetazione lussureggiante si fondono perfettamente, arricchendo il quartiere di ritrovata #vitalità. Facendo eco all’eredità di Frederik Sander, un rinomato specialista di orchidee che fondò qui un vivaio nel 1894, i vivaci nomi delle strade del quartiere ricordano il suo fiorente passato. In linea con l’etica del Sanderkwartier, gli edifici sono posizionati strategicamente, creando un’area verde incastonata tra loro, che si apre verso il Frederick Sander Park.
